If you are planning to install a windows vista or windows 7 in your laptops / pc through removable pen drive then all u need is 8 gb pen drive and a windows dvd ,Here is the simple steps you need to follow;
1. insert pendrive and start command prompt ,type ''diskpart"and press enter
2.type ''list disk ''and press enter .carefully note down the usb flash drive disk number listed .mostly it would be "disk1"
3.type "select disk1"'and press enter
4.type ''Clean ''and press enter
5.type "create partition primary ''and press enter .this creates a primary partition on the usb flash drive
6.type 'select partition1''and press enter
7.type ''active'' and press enter
8.type "format fs=fat32"and press enter .this will format the flash drive
9.then type ''assign''and press enter
10.exit from the disk part utility using thee exit command and pressing enter .then insert the windows vista /7 dvd in the optical drive and type the command ''xcopy e:\*.*/s/e/f F:\"and press enter .this command will dunp all the contents ot dvd on to the usb flash drive .
Now your usb drive is ready to install windows vista /7 on any computer
