Both the countries ,Nepal and HongKong celebrated tourism year 2011.Hongkong was able to reach its milestone of attracting 4million tourists before 11days remaining but Nepal could only reach 75 %of the milestone set . According to the immigration department statistics 5 lakhs 1 thousand 2 hundred and 64 tourists came to Nepal in this Jan -Nov.In the last 27 days of December 36 thousand 6 hundred 98 tourists arrived .Till to date approx 7 lakh tourists visited Nepal through airways and roadways combined together . The milestone to attract tourists to visit Nepal was 10 lakhs .
